Privacy notice
How Pryorify, an initiative of Posh Tonic, looks after your information.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, company and job title.
- Profile details you choose to publish: photo, location, bio, price and public link.
- A work email address, if you use it to verify where you work. It is never published and nobody can contact you on it.
- Enquiries you send or receive, and the messages in each thread.
- Payment records: amounts, status and references. We never see or store card numbers.
- Basic usage: pages viewed, referrer and a rotating hashed visitor identifier. No names, no tracking across other websites.
- Searches made on the site, so we know who people are looking for.
Why we hold it
To run your account, to show your profile if you publish one, to deliver and settle paid enquiries, to confirm people are who they say they are, to keep the platform free of fraud and abuse, and to understand how the site is used. Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in a safe and useful platform, and legal obligations around payments and fraud.
Who else is involved
- Our payment provider takes payments, runs identity checks and makes payouts.
- Our email provider delivers notifications and verification codes.
- Our hosting and database provider stores the site and its records.
They act on our instructions. We do not sell your data and we do not share your email address with other users.
Identity checks
If you choose the purple badge, our payment provider checks your photo ID and tells us only whether it passed and the name on the document. We do not receive or store the document itself.
How long we keep it
Account and profile data for as long as your account is open, then up to 12 months. Payment and tax records for 7 years, as the law requires. Verification codes expire within minutes. Usage logs for 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or take it elsewhere. Write to us through the help page. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, or your local supervisory authority.
